I've just bought a print from www.canvasartprint.co.uk
It looks really good. It took about 2 weeks to arrive.

Like you we couldn't find things we liked on the high street. So now we have a mixture of things ordered from art.co.uk (one of belagio, where we went on our honeymoon), ones I've takena dn then had blown up, and ones from national trust art/craft fair tyope things. These are often much more reasonably priced.

Bellagio, taken and, type... its been one of those days!

Why not keep an eye out for exhibitions staged by the local art group and put some original art on your walls? You might be surprised at the high standard of work and how competitively priced it can be. And you might buy something that might make your kids very happy at the Antiques Roadshow 2060!!!

Sounds weird, but you can find some good original art for sale by the artist on ebay. Or somewhere like Etsy or whatever the UK equivalent is called...I can't remember

thankyou very much for your suggestions, i will be doing some investigation over the next few weeks. our walls have been bare since the room was decorated nearly a year ago
