We've got a huge renovation project ahead of us and I'm wondering whether we should incorporate some energy saving features right from the get go.
I'm tempted by geothermal underfloor heating. I think it would be for the whole of the upstairs and the living room, study and bathroom downstairs (we're not touching the floors in the kitchen, hallway or dining room).
Does anyone have it? Is it worth it?
Also, what kind of flooring works with UFH?
The living room has a wood floor, but the rest could be anything we like. DH would like carpet in the bedrooms, but we could change that.
Thanks for any input :)
