Colours to go with yellow for boys' room

Ds (4.5) is adamant he wants the walls yellow in his and his 1yo brother's new room - after some fun paint testing he has picked out Dulux banana smoothie. What colours would look good to go with it? Either to paint skirting boards or colours for bedding/furniture etc. I don't want him telling me in a year's time that it looks too girly!

Living etc gallery of kids rooms is good to browse through. I think Navy would contrast well with banana.

I also think a bright funky frog green might look cool.

I would always keep skirting boards white or plain and only splash out on movable furniture.
