We are moving home in a weeks time. Can anyone give me some top tips to make it as smooth and easy as possible.

We have booked movers and they will help us pack too.

What should be packed first?
What should we take in a suitcase?

Please share what worked for you.

you have to pack with you into the car enough to get you by should movers be delayed or their van broke down
so imagine what would you need for say 24 hours

hi-label all boxes!on box write which room to be put in- may be obvious, but very helpful!
with you keep jamas, tbrush, change of clothes, kettle, mugs, tbags, milk, biscuits.
