I'm looking for a sofa for DD's room

I'm looking for a sofa for DD's room. She currently has a very old and crapola futon there that is about 140cm wide and I'd like something about the same size. I'd rather not buy it from somewhere like Argos or Tesco and have to wait in all day for it since I have to do the school runs. However, I am looking for something cheap and with washable covers.

Any thoughts?

How about a day bed?

I think I'd rather have a proper sofa so that we can snuggle into it when we have our bedtime story. Thanks for the suggestion though.

you need a loveseat bit £££
m&s do them as well I think

I've been looking at love seats for another room. I do think I need something bigger for DD's room since sometimes there is me, DH, DD and DS on it for bed time story. I suppose what I need is a normal sofa but in a girly fabric - back to the drawing board...

i thought 140cm was your max size.
if you can go larger then ikea is your answer

ektorp is comfy ,2 seater is 180cm

ggirl - I was just using 140cm as a guide. I now realise that small sofas are about 150-160cm. It's a learning curve for me. We do live close to an Ikea as it happens.
