sorry sounds so pathetic but i dont know what to use, been in 2 bed flat for just over a year(rented) only one ariel socket which is in in the front room so was thinking of getting a splitter and running a wire along length of flat to my bedroom but dont know what to use to stick it to the walls?

I have them wire clip things (with the nails in) are they only for the floor? would it damage the walls if i used them?

Help!!

use clips with nails on skirtings and attach wire to them, easier filled and less likely to cause damage.

Thank you, I did think of that after I posted, but i would still need to run the wire around a door frame, could i use the same clips??

Sorry and Thanks!!

Yup, the same clips will work into the wood of the door frame.

A tip - if you're going to be putting them in near the wall, slip a thin piece of cardboard between the clip and the wall while you're hammering it into the wood. That way the hammer won't mark the wall. The side off an old cereal box is ideal.
