Tenants first payment late or not?

We went through an agency to find our tenant who supposedly set up a standing order (or so it says in the contract) for the 6th every month. It says in the contract that this payment should reach us no later than this date.

This is the first payment from the new tenants.
My question is if it is due on a weekend should we recieve it before or after?

I don't want to cause any fuss if its only a day late and I won't mention it if it is there on Monday. Just a bit upset that its the first payment and its going to be late. (I have checked and its not there today.

So if its not there on Monday how long do we wait until we say something?
We manage the property outselves.
