How much for a boiler for a one bed flat?

Just been quoted £2500 but we paid less than that for our house.

Is that to supply and fit or just the boiler itself? If it's to supply and fit a good quality boiler such as a Vaillant or Worcester Bosch then I think it's a bit toppy (providing that they're not repositioning it or putting in lots of extra radiators); if it's just to supply the boiler then it's masses (you can buy the boiler set for about #700 for a one-bed).

I would have thought #1700 to #2000 tops (I live in London so am used to paying over the odds Sad).

I just got a Worcester Bosch combi boiler fitted in our small 2 bed flat in london. It was £1500 for the boiler and fitting. The fitter said he got the boiler for £900.

We did get 2 other quotes for £2,000 and £2,500 though!

Always best to get three different quotes from local installers. Also, it should go without saying that they are gas safe registered.

Both Worcester and Vaillant are quality boilers, if you are struggling to find installers to quote, try this:
