Accent colour -advice please.

I need a bit of colour in my lounge so am going for new cushions. Current colour scheme is dark green sofas, fawn carpet, pale yellow walls, pale gold curtains with a dark green pattern. I saw some gorgeous fushia cushions in town but now i have got home and tried to picture it it doesn't seem to go.
Any colour gurus out there?

I was going to suggest shocking pink because I think it goes really well with greens. Other than that I would say violet or burnt orange (love my brights).

Thik fuschia would be fab as long as you don't overdo it. It's only cushions, so can be changed if you feel you've made a mistake.

I don't think pink would really go with the yellowy tones. Burnt orange sounds like a good idea - autumnal feeling. Or purple, but not violet. Aubergine might work.

Thanks, I don't fancy Orange but the purple sounds interesting. Think I might buy a selection and see what works. I can always return them. Cheers guys.
