How do I put curtain wire up?!

This is probably the most dumbest question ever but I really want to put some nets up as live in ground floor flat and sick of people nosying in!
How do I get the little eye screw things into the wall? Really want to do it myself rather than waiting for a man to do it!
Thanks

If you have wooden frames, screw them into the wood, by hand.
If you have pvc windows then you'll be better off with tension rods (dunelm have a variety).

Yeah, they're PVC....no idea what a tension rod is but I have a Dunelm Mill locally so will ask! I tried screwing by hand into the wall but it wouldn't go in!

have you thought about frosting plastic film

instead of nets??

Do you mean these if so the only way I have seen it done is to bang a nail into the frame then hook the screws over it. Surely the screwy end of the screw goes into the net wire Confused.

We have pvc windows but there is a screw at each end to hook the eyes over. I imagine the previous tenants must have used a drill. Couldn't be doing with that frosting stuff, what happens when you actually want to look out of the window?
