Planning a part exchange?

Wondered if anyone else has done a part exchange with a housing development. We have been looking into it and it looks to good to be true! I really do not want the stress of selling our house.

My parents are waiting to do this on a retirement block of flats which are due to be built later in the year.

I don't know how it will work but I guess they will value the property a lot under it's true value.

You don't generally get the market value on your house and they generally will only do it if its going to make them a profit but it can be easy and a lot less stress.
