Any advice on where is good to live in or near Sandwich, Kent?

Hi, we might be relocating to Sandwich but don't know the area at all. Could anyone let me know what Sandwich is like to live in? We have a 2 year old so would also be interested in knowing whether there are good nurseries and primary schools nearby.

What about the villages nearby or Canterbury?

Canterbury is nice. As is Sandwich. Generally, go by price. If its cheap its a grotty area.

There are a lot of lovely surrounding villages but a lot are quite out of the way. Some old mining villages which was may not wish to consider - again the prices will help you realise where to go / not to go.

No advice on nuseries I'm afraid as i'm not too close, but sure Pfizer has something on site?
