We're buying a house at the mo which needs a bit of work. We're in a rented flat so could stay here after we complete on the house while we get the work done - which might be easier than doing it with 22mo DS running around.
It needs a new kitchen, but we'd like to knock down the wall between the kitchen and dining room as well so the kitchen/plumbing etc would need to be moved around a bit. We might also get a new boiler put in while we're at it. It could also do with a new bathroom which we could get done at the same time.
How long do you think it would take to get all of this done? We wouldn't be living there so it presumably would be a bit quicker than if we were. Any rough idea of costs would be helpful too - I'm thinking £15K-£20K if we get cheap kitchen/bathroom but I might be fooling myself
