reccomendations for carpetting companies?

Having to recarpet most of a house- was looking at Allied carpets but pondering if there are cheaper better alternatives?

I can recommnend one in West London.

Personally I would go for a local one rather than one of those big chains.

John Lewis was cheaper than Carpet Rite and their fitters are very good.

And that was despite Carpet Rite having a squillion percent off!
