Why is it for sale? Why is it £1?

council wants money apparently and to avoid legal liability for a non money making asset

they said it will get more

DH mentioned this not such a bargin in his opinion, keeping in mind that you have to let over use it so it wont be private plus the owner will be resonsble for the upkeep.

Can you charge for usage? parking? etc...

Ohhh I've been there and only last year, there are two car parks at the top that charge for parking (when I say car parks they are fields with no facilities) but a beautiful beach, good beach fishing...but the beach is miles from anywhere you have to walk a mile and a half to get to the local pub so not so good with the Lo's and the loo!
