What's the ratio of paint to PVC?

Do we have to water the paint down?

Thanks!

Use watered down wallpaper paste first to "seal" the walls then just paint as normal.

We are in a similar situation. We were told 50:50 by the plasterers, but I think there are other ratios online. we did the kitchen anyway a month ago, and it hasn't powdered or anything. We're using vinyl matt emulsion, and got some cheap Wickes's white stuff for the first coat.

When our conservatory was done we were advised to use 50% paint and 50% water for the first coat. It's come out lovely Smile

Thanks for that.

You can buy ready made primer if you are not sure!
