telescopic ladders any good?

we need to get a long ladder (for the back of our house) nohowever getting it through the door/house will be a problem as we have no side access.

the telescopic ladders look like an option, has anyone got one/tried them? any good? thanks

I've got one of these - I've only used it once, but easy to put up and secure and seems pretty sturdy. They also do one that extends to 4.4m.
