Tell me about Ikea Lycksele Chair beds

I was looking at their website and it says "May be completed with SUVERÄN mattress pad". Does this mean I have to get one or is it an optional extra?

Also has anyone got?/slept on one? Are they comfy? Are they long enough/wide enough for a large person to sleep on comfortably?

I've got one. Have been told it's very comfy. Seems quite robust. Bought years ago but I think the mattress was separate. Possible slightly shorter than a single bed but certainly big ehough for an average sized bloke to get a decent nights sleep on.

Would recommend.

If you put it on a triple word score in scrabble you would probably win.

We have one, it's very comfy to sleep on, but I'm afraid I can't remember if we had to buy the mattress separately.

They're fine to sleep on (I think we have the middle price mattress, no pad) but slightly less comfy to sit on; they look like a squishy armchair so you plonk down on it, then it turns out to actually be quite firm. But OK once you're used to it.

I have the sofa version. As a bed it's quite comfy, easy to fold out. As a sofa it was crap, it's a complete pain in the arse that it has no arms and you have to sit upright on it. You can't lean, and I do love a good lean.

Oh thank you I think I might go for it if I can get it in the back of the punto Grin.

(Also scrabble tip noted; it would have be the trickster version though I think Wink)
