Snow and leaks through roof tile - advice

Temperatures here aren't rising enough for the snow to melt off the roofs here. A little is. But now we have leaks in the top of the moldings by the window frames and I have just noticed 3 places downstairs where there is a bay and a slanted tiled roof above where the snow must be melting. I have buckets in lounge and have been dangling out of the upstairs window with a broom to try and clear some snow off the roof over the bay. It;s not looking good. Yesterday all my front curtains were soaked from the drips.

How do cold countries cope?

Thanks for the bump. It's getting better, managed to clear off some more of the snow off. Not sure what else you can do.

Maybe some of the roof tiles have moved out of place?? Good luck with it!

Ours did this a couple of weeks ago, the ice had built up so much near the edge of the roof that the water had nowhere to run so was coming through the roof. DH cleared the ice and problem fixed.
