chips in bath

Hi,
We have a few chips in our bath (not the potato variety!) and were thinking of having it repaired rather than paying for someone to install a new bath.
Has anyone done this or have any idea of cost? I googled but can't be bothered to fill in all of my details for free quotes...yet!

You can buy a kit to repair them yourself from a lot of bathroom repair places - I was going to do it on my old bath (presume it's enamel?) but didn't bother in the end. It looked quite easy in the online video
