Does anyone know how we can get a rough idea of the cost of new double glazing for 7 windows and a patio door (1970s semi, current dg nearly 20 yrs old), without having to go through the rigmarole of having companies come and sit in my house and give me the hard sell ('well the list price is £3million but if you sign here today you can have it for £5k' type of thing). We've been through that with kitchens etc. and it's tiresome, I'm 30 weeks pregnant and so we won't be even doing the work until later in the year (if at all, no idea if we can afford it), but if we get people round to get ballpark quotes, they will stalk us for months, and we could do without it timings-wise!
So any ideas if there are websites which just do quick estimates or cost comparisons etc?
