Which has noww delayed things by a week !!! We were supposed to move before christmas and it looks like it will be Jan because of this F**ker

I am so mad I can't sleep or do anything

There are two other couples in the chain who are just as upset, so I guess its not just us.

I have a horrible feeling that he's doing it as he doesn't have the money in place and is stalling. Any ideas ????

well my title doesn't make sense !!

It should be why has the cash buyer used a personal cheque in paying deposit rather than bankers draft......dear me, lack of sleep

Can't you ask the buyer / get the agent to ask the buyer why this has happened? i don't know much about it but if the deposit is due to be paid on a certain date then that means cleared funds...

I think he may be stalling too Sad

Eitehr that or he's my FIL and he doesn't want to pay £20 or whatever it is for a bankers draught Hmm

yeah I just got a call from the estate agent we are buying from pretty much to the effect

That he doesn't want to pay £25 and go to the bank in the snow, if you haven't guessed already hes a curmudgeonly old man....grrr

luckily the estate agents are also the people we are buying from so they offered reimbersment to move before christmas....

(waits with baited breath)
