Can you recommend a warm grey shade?`

Hi, my bedroom is north facing but has a very large window so it is not dark. I have two black glass wardrobes to the side of the chimney breast, a medium brown upholstered headboard and the duvet cover is Orla Kiely's stemflower (the multicoloured one). The carpet is beige.

Do you think a warm grey would work in this room? If so, which one can you recommend? Or can you suggest an alternative colour?

we have a greeny grey that works well. i think its green but the decorator said it was grey. it goes nicely with beige - the curtains and cushions are a mix of the 2. paint library stalk 3. but we tried lots of sample pots as we found you had to get the right shade to match the rest of the room - much more tricky to match than a cream or a fawn.

Get a tester of Dulux 'Green Earth'. We have it in our living room and it varies from greenish grey to warm grey depending on the light. Everyone comments on how much they like it, it's quite odd that paint could attract so much attention. In fact a recent visitor took some leftover paint to test on her bedroom walls!

We've got Green Earth as well in a north facing sitting room - very subtle and calming, but too greeny to work with the OP's colours.

Try Delicate Cobweb (either dulux or crown) it is grey, but we've matched it with a dark damson feature wall, and it takes on some of the warmth of that.

I should have added IMHO to views of green earth (which BTW is a special for B&Q so only appears in colour charts from there)

F&B do an Elephant's Breath I believe.
