Choosing a floor - help!!!

I'm trying to choose a floor for my house (ground floor - apart from kitchen), I think I've narrowed it to two choices, one is solid wood and one is engineered wood. Both are Oak and there is negligible price difference between the two.

The engineered floor has a wear layer of 4mm so I guess can be sanded a couple of times.

Underneath our currrent flooring we have concrete which hopefully we could float a solid wood floor on (tongue and groove style etc).

Not sure what to go for really, any advice?

If you're not planning UFH, solid wood is better.

Thank you lalalonglegs, no not planning underfloor heating.
