I need help. Am looking to paint my hallway and upstairs corridor, but there is little or no light coming in to the house and i need a very bright colour to brighten the house. I also have walnut wood floor which is dark, also thinking of adding walnut doors so i need really bright walls.

I was thinking of dulux jasmine white (wipeable as i have 3 children). Any suggestions please on colour that is wipeable and bright and lovely. I dont like pure white. thank you

We have just painted 2 bathrooms in Wickes matte washable paint. One in cream and one in a lovely milky coffee colour [barley according to the builder] with travertine effect tiles. It is a slightly thicker than normal paint but looks lovely on.Tester pots are available to colour match. However i think the lightest colour is cream.Builder has also told me that it needs diluting with water a bit as it is pretty thick.I also have 4 dc's so needed a paint that was kid-proof.
