Is your loo flush (no pun intended) against the wall?

Random question for a Tuesday night Blush Are your loos flush against the wall they back up against? Plumber has installed ours with about a cm gap between loo and wall, which looks odd to me but DH insists is how they all are. Plumber is (allegedly) coming back tomorrow to finally fit the cocking shower, so was wondering whether I should get him to move the loos as well.

Ta!

I always thought mine were flush against the wall but, having looked, there is a narrow gap. Can't think why Confused.

Most cistern lids have a lip at the back so if the cistern is against the wall you can't get the lid on.

Thanks! Completely forgot to check at my parents' today. Facebook friends seem to be a mix of the two. Haven't needed to get our lid off yet, maybe that's why the plumber left a gap?

Superduper lovely plumber has been today and shower is in so I'm giddy and delirious Blush
