Is it possible to get a drain cover/grid for a largerish cavity?

The old iron drain cover measured 34cm by 30cm. We smashed it up to try to clear blockage below. Now having looked at b and q, screwfix and plumb center websites, there seems to e nothing to fit that space unless we bought a huge roll of mesh which we'd only need a little of? Anyone know of where we could get something appropriate? Thanks

Old imperial size drain covers are really hard to come by, you can try reclamation yards and even eBay, but you might end up having to get the old frame broken out and a modern one concreted in. One day's job for a builder, cost probably around £300.

I got a new cast iron grid about 12" square off ebay, it came from an ironmongers. I had to make my drain hole a little smaller with mortar to make it fit. It looks fine.
