If my neighbours aerial is causing noise problems, who should pay to fix it?

We have a loft conversion and on windy nights there is a rattling on the roof which is really irritating. Think the cause may be our neighbours' aerial which is attached to the chimney and seems to be a little loose.

If someone has to go up and fix or replace it, should we pay for it, or offer to pay half, or expect them to pay for it all? Given that the noise is only causing us a problem, not them, and that they don't actually use the roof antenna.

They've been very nice about it so far, letting us into their loft space to have a look to see if it was anything in there banging against the party wall. So we want to be fair.

I would offer to pay for it and hope that they would at least offer to pay too. It depends on whether the cost is more annoying than the noise.

Thanks, that's more or less what I was thinking.
