How easy is it to move a kitchen? Anyone done this?

Our house currently has a separate kitchen and then a large lounge next to it (both at back of the house), with an even larger dining/family room at the front.

In an ideal world, I would like to turn the lounge into a large kitchen diner and the kitchen into a study/den type room.

How easy/expensive is it to move plumbing etc. Hob and cooker are electric so no gas.

We've done it a couple of times. It is relatively straightforward providing drains etc are going to be easy to connect into. Also, we did it when we were in the process of gutting houses so the additional work wasn't a big concern - if your house is pristine, then it will be a big upheaval.
