We have just bought a 2 bed, which has exactly the same floor space as many of the 3-bed flats we have viewed recently.
We've bought it relatively cheaply but need to turn it into a 3 bed.
Its not clear yet whether the bedroom in the loft can be turned 2 rooms by pushing out the eves. We could squeeze another bedroom from the living room but this will make the living room tiny so we may need to cut out the wall from the kitchen to create a bigger living area. Not much quiet time then with DD, 6 and our au-pair!
Has anyone done similar and how did you manage it?
Also are we likely to need a building warrant and could you recommend a tradesperson in South London?
