What colour paint with travertine? Help please!

Am having these tiles round the bath and sink and these round the shower enclosure. Have found a beautiful light gold silk blind and having a wooden floor.

So I'm looking for the paint - but don't really know what to look for a soft cream?? Almond white says that it is a goldy cream.

Any other ideas - rest of the house is mostly different shades of white but think this would be too stark in the bathroom.

Help please!

We have white with our travertine...but on the back wall (big room with roll top bath under window) we have Crown 'Regal Blue'. It's lovely if you are after a bold colour statement!

We had Dulux's gentle gold 4 with out travertine, with an accent gentle gold 2 wall behind the sink for contrast

Right - I have been to the paint shop and now have a selection on the wall ranging from dulux almond white to f&b clunch - will make a decision tomorrow when I've had a chance to put a few coats on.

Why dont you take the lightest tile and get the paint shop to match the colour.

We have dulux natural hessian. It's lush.

ALso have Dulux Natural hessian - looks great

Will have a look at the natural hessian - do they make it in the specific bathroom paint?

Yes, and it is lovely - but will it be a bit too close in colour?
