Which is the best website for looking for a house?

I am fed up of looking at three or four different ones and seeing the same houses. I just want to look at one and check daily or every other day.

some agents not on rightmove but on find a property - why don't you just set up alerts for every 24hrs in your price range?

am pretty sure you can sign up for email updates too

I don't want the emails but can handle looking on 2 sites. I have no idea where I want to live but will just know when I have found the right house. Thanks.

I suppose it would help if I knew where in the country I wanted to live. DH would prefer to wait a few years so we don't have to move again.

In addition to the websites mentioned, you might find propertybee.com useful - you can download a toolbar which interacts with the property listing site and will show you a history of all houses fund in a search and give you their history - when came on to the market (although some listings that look new may not be), whether it's been under offer previously, or whether there have been any price reductions - might help you gauge an offer, if it comes to that.
Also, there are many websites which show sold prices for any given address/postcode/road etc which will also be helpful - I use ourproperty.com which I find quick and simple to use - think you can get similar thing on Rightmove (or Zoopla?). Is also useful for gauging pitch of offer based on knowledge of previous sales.

Good luck finding a great new home.
