Any tips on how to actually put a picture hanging hook up? The bloody nail bends everytime I try to hammer it in - now the wall looks like its about to fall apart. ARGHHH!!!!!
Nail gun...???

Raw Plug and scrwew is the way DH always does it - I could send him round - he has a special tool box with all kinds of special raw plugs in, ones that have arms that pop out once in the wall, ones for plaster boarded walls, ones for lathe and plaster walls - I could go on but he does and it bores me shitless.

(Is it a Rawl Plug or a Raw Plug??)

what kind of walls do you have?

if they#'re brick then you'll need to drill ahole and use a rawl plug/screw

thanks - but the picture hooky thing and our screws wont fit through the hole iyswim.

I think I'm going to drill a thin hole, fill it with no more nails, place the nail in (through the picture hooky thing) and wait for it to dry.
THought it would be a 'fun' 5 min job and now my blood pressure is soraring and I have a crapped up wall... - grrr!!

(Think it's rawl though Im sure I've heard them referred to as wall..?!)

I saw this in the diy store today and it looks like it could help.
