Which wallpaper?

Sorry for hastily typed post and also for possible lack of response in advance - no internet in new house so sporadic access to MN!

Trying to pick wallpaper for one wall of our bedroom. In our last house there was a red theme so we already have red lamps/accessories which I would like to hang on to. Carpet is cream, furniture is dark wood. Two walls are cream. Room faces west and wallpapered wall would be opposite the window, with the bed against it.

So, two options are:

  • dandelion clocks (house is 50s semi, so seems in keeping) with one taupe/pale brown wall or
  • Brighton with one pale blue wall

Thanks in advance! :)

I'd say if you're keeping your red accessories 7 there's a cream carpet, you could go for a rather lovely one I just saw in John Lewis. It's a creamy/grey foliage background with deep pinky/red roses. I'll see if I can find it on their website & do a link.

I like them both! but wonder if the brighton one is a bit busy for a bedroom? If I had to choose, I'd go for the dandelion clocks....

Oh i love love that Brighton one - i'm off to wander the site now.....

I can't quite picture the Brighton one in a bedroom, I prefer Dandelion Clocks.

i LOVE the brighton one.... but not for a bedroom

would look fab in an office or maybe dining room or something

so i say go for dandelion clocks

It's the dandelion one for me, the Brighton one seems more kitchen like

I love the dandelion print, in every colour, and every form! I'm sure I'll be buying some of it myself soon.
