Do you line kitchen cupboards/ drawers?

Kitchen is about to finish being fitted. Experience of old cupboards is things like Soy sauce, honey etc seem to leak everywhere. Does anyone line their kitchen drawers and cupboards with paper to soak up the spills? If so, what with?

Mine are lined with rubber matting which is bought by the roll. If anything spills/leaks, it can be wiped off with a damp cloth/sponge.

my drawers are lined with crumbs, and the cupboards with salt from the grinder and a fine dusting of flour

I used to be the anti slattern...not anymore!

Eh?

Just take the stuff out the cupboard and wipe it down.

Good point MrsM - didn't think about the 'avoiding wear & tear' factor
I am liking Early's rubber idea - much less noisy putting the shopping away too I imagine...

You can get rolls of bumpy plastic at Ikea which cut to size and stop things sliding about when you slam close the drawer
