Patterned curtains plain bedding, or v.v? Or both? And what about wallpaper?

Hello, we're decorating our bedroom soon and iIam so looking forward to it, it's a very depressing room at present. I really love "dandelion Clocks" by Sanderson
this
but I'm not sure whether plain walls would look good, with the patterned duvet, or have curtains in that design, or both? Or even get one wall wallpapered? I don't want to overdose on it!
If we go for plain curtains, what's the best way of having cheap curtains that look expensive?
Oh the decisions!

It's quite a strong statement fabric (I like it too but DH wouldn't!) so I would just go with the bedding and have plain curtains and walls - that way you can change the look more easily.

You could do roman blinds in the pattern with plain curtains or alternatively a big padded headboard in the Sanderson fabric.

Teta, we've got a wooden bedframe with a nice headboard already, but roman blinds are an option.
Buda, my DH doesn't mind it and that's good enough for me. But good point about changing look of room.

I have heard it said that the only colour for 'classy' bedlinen is white - but not sure where I stand on this point!
