Was wondering if anyone can help, cos i dont have a clue

DC were running around with half a curtain pole (dont ask lol) and have taken some chunks out of the hallway wall some arent very day but others are 1-2 cm deep and i dont know what to do to fix it

Was thinking of using Polycell Plaster Repair Polyfilla then painting afterwards but not sure if it will look neat or if im just fooling myself altogether and will need a professional

Anyone with any idea what i should do please feel free

TIA

You'll be fine! As long as you can match the paint :) I had loads of holes in my walls that needed filling and you really can't see them now.

For the deeper ones apply polyfilla in layers, not a two cm slab all at once or it won't stick in place. Get yourself a cheap trowel from Homebase or wherever to skim the top off level (you could use a ruler at a pinch, but I found the trowel helped a lot) Then use a clean damp sponge to smooth it very gently - blending the edges of the polyfilla outwards, like eyeshadow. Then sand afterwards (if you have to) and then paint.

You might want to give the walls a quick wash with sugar soap before you start - that way the new paint won't stand out so much against the dust.
