condensation?

hey, why do we get condensation?
is it badly fitted windows??
i ask cause we had ours refitted beginning of the yr and upstairs we have condensation..
any ideas if its anything to do with the windows?

We get it in the rooms we don't use a lot, because we don't open the windows regularrly. It's gone since I started opening them every morning.

It's due to poor ventilation combined with a cold surface for the water to condense onto. If it has only started happening since the windows were fitted then I expect the old ones were providing enough ventilation in the room. You can get windows with vents fitted at the top but the vents can't be retro-fitted so just open the windows occasionally.

ok, so it wont be becuase they are badly fitted, but cause they are not letting the draft in?

That's correct, condensation won't be caused by badly fitted windows.
