probably a how long is a piece of string question really, but i just want some rough estimates so i can decide if it's feasible really.

we're moving ds1 into the small room. it is currently papered. i want it stripped and painted.
problem is that it is textured wallpaper, on plasterboard.

when we stripped the bathroom it took off the top surface of the plasterboard and we ended up with a hideous hideous mess (which still isn't sorted!)

i would have painted over it, but it has a flower pattern and ds1 is not keen!

so, bearing in mind it could be a right arse to get the walls smooth, how mcuh do you think it might be? room is about 7'x9'

oh dear
I've not tried it myself
what went wrong?

it was just too thick and sticky for us to work with it very well.
we found it next to impossible to get a smooth finish. i think if you were used to doing stuff like plastering then you'd probably make a better job of it. although, if you were you'd probably just plaster it lol

we got it better than it was by sanding it all over once we'd used the Smooth Over. But this time i think i'd rather pay a professional to do it lol
