Blind Ideas for Velux-Style Windows

Hello all,

In my loft conversion (already done by previous owners) there are 2 Velux style windows with no coverings on, which means guests get woken up very early. I've had Hilary's blinds look at them, and their sales man said as they aren't Velux brand, Velux blinds won't fit.

I can't find a make on the windows anywhere, so I'm wondering if either the sticker has fallen off, or they were from somewhere like Wickes or B&Q.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can cover these windows? I'm wondering if stiff canvas type material with eyelets down the long sides would work with curtain wire running down the side of the windows, does anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks very much,

Fuzzy

Can you put a rail at the top ( or curtain wire) and then another at bottom of window so curtain is attatched at top and bottom then just gather to one side to open. Or rail at top and hang cutain behind a bar at bottom ( might need to weight curtain hem so it hangs dowm )HTH.
