What colour cushions go with Taupe?

Hi all
We recently got the Abbey sofa from M&S in Taupe (it is no longer on the website as the fabric has been discontinued) & I am now wondering what colours go with Taupe? The sofa is in the conservatory & it does appear to change colour depending on the light, it can look brown-ish, grey-ish or green-ish. The material has a cream flek to it so maybe cushions that have cream in them but are also colourful too? Any ideas? I am struggling & need help!!

How about teal or duck egg blue. Maybe even turquoise. Hot pink could also look good or how about red.

I think taupe goes with a lot of colours.

Ooh I have this sofa too, Is it in herringbone pattern? I have duck egg in my living room, goes quite well I think.

It's a pretty neutral colour so would go with anything.

Deep purple and bright green.

Depends on your wall and floor colours, but hot pink, plum, turquoise, chocolate and linen colours all look good.

Purple or duck-egg blue, I reckon.

I've got taupe walls and starting to look at curtains etc I seem to be steering towards dark purple or pink. I think that green doesn't seem to work in all lights. We have a deep red sofa in the room at the moment and that works with the taupe walls. Its a very hard colour to work with I think.

Thanks everyone & some great colour suggestions there :) Have ordered some other Taupe swatches from M&S so that I can take them with me to the shops when trying to match up cushions - I just find Taupe such a funny colour as it looks so different dependant on the light. It is currently dull in the conservatory & the sofa looks brown-ish at the moment. The conservatory is an orangy colour (yuk) what the previous people had but I am hoping to get the wall colour re-painted but not sure what colour yet. Am due in 5 weeks so don't have long & have a house full of workmen as it is...DH is not going to be happy I want another room decorated
86 it is the Puelo Taupe fabric but it does look like it has a Herringbone pattern with the cream flek.
