I need to re-do my living room, but what colour??

I want it to be light and bright, but I have 3 small kids too! lol

Its curently red with 2 grey walla.

Its depressing!

do you like these curtains in blue?

Those curtains are a bit 'fussy' for my liking with such a dominating pattern, but they are for your house so if you like them get them!

In our lounge we have B&Q Soft Cream paint- it was there when we moved in but I love it, its a really warm cream which looks goldy in the evening light.

If you chose the curtains that you suggest TO - then you could keep your two grey walls. They should complement the curtains nicely! Then, I would, re-paint the red wall with a light, bright, cream or off-white. This might be difficult, isn't red hard to cover?

thinking aloud ... or keep your red wall and re-paint the grey ones with a bright white / cream.
