Move to St Albans

Hi

We're looking to move to St Albans and have just started to make a few appointments to see houses in different areas. We have seen on the internet details of a couple of houses in Park Street and also St Stephen's but have no idea whether they're "good" areas. Any views/advice would be very welcome.

I personally think St Stephens is nicer than Park Street.

Other nice areas - Chiswell Green and Marshalswick. My favourite being Marshalswick, but cannot afford a house there at the mo . Some excellent primary and secondary schools in that area too.
