Bright yellow and green walls.......how do i get rid?

All our hall, stairs and upstairs landing is yellow and green painted walls (think highlighters) how can i get rid of them, what do i use to cover them up?

Dulux basecoat. Quite expensive but covers everything including hairline cracks.
