Villages close to Amersham?

I would like to know more about the villages around Amersham. Thinking of moving to the area and know it is cheaper outside amersham. Being close to the trainline is not a requirement.
Would be interested in good infant and junior school options.

Have you considered Chesham? Get waaaay more for your money there. There is a common conception amongst Chalfonty/Amersham folks that it is a bit rough but honest to God even the so less desirable areas have ex-council homes that sell for the best part of 250000. I grew up there and Hated it as a teen but it has changed so much. Loads of folk from London snapping up all the fab Victorian Terraces and it feels more urban now; but in a good way . Great schools; I went to the High school and my sister to the Community college ;both of us did great. There is a lovely park, loads of activities, 2 swimming pools, tube into London . In fact I am hoping to move back next year lol
