I was in a friend's kitchen the other day, just been redone, and the units are kind of winter white, most of the walls are white, but the accents are kind of aubergine/berry colour - looked gorgeous. But that was a large kitchen (Envy), so not sure how it would work in a smaller room - maybe just use it as accent colour?

Ooh it will look fabulous with light coloured units; ie painted cream or maybe a beech coloured wood.

Be brave - it's only paint and you can always repaint if you hate it!!

good size kitchen with good light kitchen is oak with slate on the walls was thinking of doing ALL the walls though i fairness the 'kitchen' area takes up a good amount of wall space so pnly really one good size wall on full shoe a nd half another with bits here and ther on the others. i do like it thogh think it will have to be done Grin

Just go for it, you obviously really want to Grin. And glad you went for the slate tiles, that really opens up your options if you change your mind about the berry. Do it!

I've got dulux Mud hut on mine which does look a bit purply in natural light.

Just a couple of feature walls - not full on !

Other walls are magnolia-versions with limestone floor and oak unite.

I really like it and have had really positive comments.
