Renting with pets?

Hey,

We will be moving to cheltenham from norwich in October.
It was a sudden move as hubby has been relocated with work.

We can't wait for our house to sell before leaving this area so will be renting for about 6months til house all sold.

I've never ever rented before.

When houses state 'no pets'
Does this really mean NO pets?

We have guinea pigs that obviously live outside/garage in winter so would this be ok?

Definitely get something in writing! One of our old landlords tried to get money out of us for having caged pets, despite having said it was ok. Luckily we'd got it in writing.

More places seem ok with caged pets than non caged pets.
