Which Washing Machine and Tumble Dryer?

Now that I have got my oven, I need to get a washing machine and a dryer. They need to be 600mm and integrated.
I want to get the tumble dryer that you don't need a pipe going outside for (I think what I need is called a condensing one?).
Any machines that you are delighted with or sorry that you bought?

I don't have a tumble dryer,but I love my Miele washing machine.

I think miele all the way but integrated is very expensive. They last and are good ( our dishwasher is over 30 yrs old! and is miele!)

LOVE my LG washing machine. 8kg, takes so many clothes, washes well, is so quiet when it spins, has a child lock on it, big enough for duvets too. It's a f1147td.
It was about £450, worth it.

Love my LG direct drive 8kg one its a F1622GD and when I bought it in January 2009 it was the Which? best buy. They don't do that model anymore but they more recent ones are probably better.

Having said that they install Miele on submarines because they are so good but I could afford one.

Do not opt for hotpoint - the biggest mistake we made the washing machine broke down 3 times in the first year! and not pleased with the integrated hotpoint fridge/freezer either Grrr!

I have a Bosch washing machine which is great and have just ordered a Bosch tumble dryer. It arrives next Sat, will report back!

We have a Miele washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher and are very happy with them. My FIL recommended to go for Miele as his washing machine is still going strong after 15 years.

Don't know about dryers but our AEG washing machine is great - it's so quiet compared to our old Bosch (which was about 15 years old, though)
