I don't like painting much so thought it was worth a try!

Inside or out ? Started on our rendering yesterday, took 2 hours to do 1/3 of one side and boy do I ache !

Inside and out, we worked out that if we do one room a week we'll still be painting in November....god I hate painting!

How are you doing ? Just done some more of the outside - hope it doesn't rain !

One room painted, 13 to go!

Very bruised knee though, I feel off the chair I was standing on but luckily didn't spill a drop of the black gloss I was using.

I must get off my arse and get on with painting. Started painting kitchen around 7 years ago and got as far as above door (around 5 feet painted) and gave up.

Have bought tester pots a few weeks ago and had a play, decided on colour and bought paint. Am now unsure whether I like the colour but just need to get on with it.

Also need to paint front of house. Had new front door last year and the fitters damaged around the edges and fixed with huge patches of grey on top of lovely cream paintwork. Bought several shades of tester pot last summer in the hope to just match it up and cover the grey bits. Unfortunately its obvious I have to paint the whole front and the paint is just sitting in the garage. I keep saying I'll start and then it bloody rains. Was going to have a go this morning and suprise suprise, bloody raining again.
