Areas in South Northamptonshire

Hi,

We are looking to move from East Berkshire to South Northamptonshire.

Please can anyone recommend any particular areas?

We have a toddler and baby, so looking for a town with ameneties and friendly atmosphere (I know, I know).

We would be renting to start with, but would be great to be pointed in the right direction.

Towcester is nice and has good schools.

Rushden is stuck in the 1970s. Don't do it. Nice Waitrose there though.
